For the Kids: Bright and Colorful Folders

Get Creative with this Fun Arts & Crafts Project

This fun and colorful craft project makes a perfect weekend or school break activity for children and teens alike. With so many Fablon designs to choose from, covering folders, schoolbooks, journals, note pads, diaries and more has never been so simple. With the ease of a peel and stick design, there’s absolutely no mess involved making even the clean-up enjoyable!

Project Tools:

Contour Rose Peel and Stick Liner

Paris Peel and Stick Liner

Pencil or marker for tracing

Scissors

Plain Folders, books, journals (or whatever you want!)

After you’ve chosen your design and the item you would like to cover, take your folder or book and place it on top of the sticky back plastic. Trace the exterior of both the front and back covers with your pencil and then cut out your outline using a pair of scissors. Remove the liners backing and smooth into place. Any excess material either trim with your scissors or a craft knife. If you would like to cover the interior of your notebook or journal, just repeat the steps above!

Winter Decorating

With winter upon us and the cold setting in, we thought that by adding a little decoration to our plain windows we might abate the winter blues for just a bit longer!

Choosing the elegantly frosted static cling design, we set to work to create our own winter wonderland…

Project Tools:

Frost Window Static Cling

Craft Knife/Scissors

Marker for tracing

Step 1: Taking your window film, trace as many snowflake designs as you would like on the “non-cling” side of your film

Step 2: With either a craft knife or scissors, carefully cut out each snowflake avoiding leaving any marker residue behind

Step 3: Clean your window(s) so that they are free of all dust and debris

Step 4: Remove the clear backing from each snowflake

Step 5: With a damp cloth, wipe the area where you are going to place your snowflake and smooth into place
